I’m reminded of a story in the Bible where Elijah, the man of God, was doing God’s work. And he spoke by the inspiration of God, that it would not rain for three years. It is God’s responsibility to provide for his people that do his work. So lets see what happened.

The Bible states God commanded the ravens to bring fresh meat every day to sustain the man of God. He also provided Elijah water from a brook during that time. As the famine took its toll, the water at the brook became depleted and Elijah had to move on. Once more, God spoke to Elijah in 1 Kings 17:9, “Arise, get thee to Zarephath, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman to sustain thee.” The widow woman shared her last meal with Elijah before she and her son were going to die.

God can choose to use little or much to fund his divine projects. Is God commanding you? We are confident that just like the widow in 1 Kings 17:9 sustained Elijah, God is commanding some of you to fund or sustain His projects. The bible says the widow’s barrel of meal and cruse of oil did not fail until He sent rain in the earth. We believe God will sustain you just like the widow woman.
