Pastor Anthony M. Harmon

Rev. Anthony M. Harmon is a powerful and charismatic preacher whose unique animated style of delivery captivates listeners. Rev. Harmon serves as the Senior Pastor of New Life Celebration Church of God.

Pastor Harmon joined the New Life Celebration Church of God family in 1997 under the leadership of its founding pastors Rev. Dr. Michael D. Reynolds and First Lady Erica C. Reynolds. During his years of membership Pastor Harmon served on the Evangelism Team, Lay Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Teacher of Soteriology, and Instructor of the Spiritual Gifts Ministry.

Pastor Harmon was officially ordained as a Minister within the Church of God in 2009. Pastor Harmon served in a leadership role as CAMS and MIP Administrative Coordinator under the Church of God Administrative Bishop Wayne Solomon in 2011. In 2014 Pastor Harmon was promoted to the office of the Administrative Pastor of New Life Celebration Church of God.

In 2015 Pastor Harmon was ordained by the Church of God as an Ordained Bishop, the highest level of credentialing within the denomination. In 2016 Pastor Harmon was elected to serve as a council member of the Great Lakes Region Church of God Youth Board, he served in this role for two years.

Pastor Harmon holds a Master of Arts degree in Urban Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry with an emphasis on counseling from Trinity International University. He is currently completing an additional Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies.

Pastor Harmon is married to the love of his life of 24 years First Lady Angela Harmon, their union together has produced their two young adult children, Aaron, and Alexis. He was employed with the Northern Trust Company as Sr. Trust Account Analyst for 19 years.

In June of 2020 under the recommendation of the Sr. Pastor; the Great Lakes Region Bishop of the Church of God; and by vote of the congregation of the New Life Celebration Church of God, Pastor Harmon has been elected as the new Senior Pastor of the New Life Celebration Church of God.

Pastor Harmon enjoys preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for the magnification of the name of Jesus and for the edification of God’s people.

Lady Angela Harmon

First Lady Angela Harmon is a faithful servant to the Lord, a devoted wife for over 24 years, dedicated mother, and leader. As she walks alongside her husband, she serves as the President of the Women’s Ministry and has taught Spiritual Gifts class for over 10 years.

Lady Angela enjoys administrating ministry events for the glory of God. During her 23 years of membership at New Life Celebration COG under the leadership of founding pastors Rev. Dr. Michael D. Reynolds and First Lady, Erica C. Reynolds, Lady Angela has served in many leadership and administrative roles. She has also served as the coordinator for the Church of God Great Lakes Region Prayer Conference under the leadership of Administrative Bishop Darrell Rice. CAMS & MIP Administrative Coordinator under the leadership of Administrative Bishop Wayne Solomon, in addition to sitting on a variety of committees and boards.

Lady Angela earned two Masters of Arts degrees in Theological Studies and Urban Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Western Illinois University. She has served as an Administrative Professional at Trinity International University and JP Morgan Chase for over 13 years.

Lady Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young adult children Aaron and Alexis.
