Our founders, the Rev. Dr. Michael D. Reynolds, and his wife, Rev. Erica C. Reynolds established New Life Celebration Church of God in November of 1992. New Life Celebration was established under a motto based on Ephesians 4:12; "To Equip the saints for a balanced life in Christ". Under the leadership of Dr. Reynolds, New Life Celebration grew from a small work-based, conference room Bible study into a fully resourced ministry designed to equip people to reach their full potential in the knowlege of God, Jesus and the Scriptures.

Dr. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Illinois State University, a Master of Arts in Religion with an emphasis in Urban Ministry, a Master of Theology both from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary.

Rev. Erica C. Reynolds is a licensed minister with the Church of God denomination. Widely known for God miraculously restoring her ability to walk after being completely paralyzed from the waist down, Rev. Erica preaches and teaches the gospel globally with fire and zeal. Rev. Erica has hosted the "Christian View Television Show", which aired as a special episode of the "New Life Show" on WJYX television network in Chicago. She has been a guest on the TBN's "Praise the Lord" gospel network, sharing her testimony to the world of God's miraculous healing in her body. Rev. Erica continues to inspire others with her faith. She is blessed to be one of God's "Faith Walkers"; walking by faith, and not by sight.

Dr. Reynolds and Rev. Erica served as the Sr. Pastor and Worship Pastor of New Life Celebration Church of God from 1992 until 2020. During their tenure, they planted 8 churches; established an elementary school that serves children from pre-school to 8th grade; expanded the New Life Campus to include a gym that hosts basketball tournaments with over 300 spectators; established a small studio for arts and television production as well as many other exploits for the Kingdom of God.

Dr. Reynolds and Rev. Erica currently reside in Cleveland, TN near the Church of God international headquarters. Dr. Reynolds currently serves as the Director of Ministerial Development for the Church of God School of Ministry

The Reynolds have been happily married for over 38 years. The Reynolds have four children; Michael II, Celenna, Jonathan, Cicely one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, and three grandchildren.
